A new rumor suggests that we could get a permanent nighttime mode for DMZ. Let's take a look at the latest Warzone 2 DMZ rumors.
With the launch of Warzone 2 we also got a completely new extraction mode called DMZ. Just hop in on Al Mazrah or Ashika Island, kill a few AI soldiers, loot as much as you can and complete a few missions and if you are lucky you can extract with all your valuable loot. The PvPvE mode is really fun and thus very popular among the more casual CoD players, but content creators are also having a blast.
With Season 3 we now got a bunch of new content and features for DMZ, like workbenches, the option to barter or various new versions of plate carriers and backpacks. Sadly, we also got a few Pay2Win bundles...
But hey, we also already got new rumors about what could be coming next
DMZ At Night
According to a leaker on Twitter, we could actually get a nighttime mode for DMZ that isn't just a limited time mode. He is calling it a "non-daytime mode", but well, you could just say nighttime, right?
DMZ IS GETTING A NON-DAYTIME MODE THAT IS NOT AN LTMSUPPOSEDLY SIMILAR AREAS TO BUILDING 21 TOO

Anyway, the community has been speculating about this for quite a while now on Reddit and other platforms. Since a night mode wouldn't really work in a competitive environment like Warzone, it would be the perfect addition to the PvPvE environment of DMZ.
However, it seems like the rumored nighttime mode won't actually be at night. The Season 3 Reloaded blog post is actually talking about going underground into a bunker, where you need to be "proactive in adding illumination to your hardware; flashlights might be needed as you venture further into this [[REDACTED]]".
Yes, a proper day and night cycle would be even more impressive, but a huge bunker without lighting is also pretty nice.
- If you're still trying to unlock and level up the new FJX Imperium, we highly recommend getting MW2 to make the grind quicker.
What do you think? Would you like a nighttime mode for DMZ or are you happy with an underground bunker?
Have you heard of CoD 2023 yet?
