Warzone Pacific Season 2 will introduce new locations to Caldera that will permanently feature neutral AI enemies. This will be controversial.
As if 4-seater bomber planes and tanks weren't enough, Season 2 will also bring bots to Warzone. This isn't the first time we've seen neutral AI in Warzone. You might remember that during the 80s Action Hero event, you could fight goons in the bottom of Nakatomi Plaza. But with the current state of Warzone, and with all its recent stability issues, we shouldn't get too excited until we see them with our own eyes.

Where Will The Bots Be On Caldera?
Neutral AI will appear on the Warzone Pacific map Caldera at a new location coming in Season 2 called Chemical Plant. Here's how the devs described the new POI in their recent blog post:
The refinery between the Mines and Docks that once produced phosphate has been repurposed and is now a newly constructed plant spewing out Nebula V. This newly named Chemical Factory has a similar layout to the location it replaced, but with several notable differences, including enemy soldiers who protect the facility and a trap that can be sprung in the central building.
And before you start wondering why anyone would start fighting noncompeting 3rd parties:
Squads who infiltrate this highly lethal area will walk away with more valuable loot on average, which may help in the ensuing fight against both the Circle Collapse and Nebula V Bombs.
This seems like a fun addition; you aren't forced to engage in the activity if it sounds annoying, but if you do so, you'll get a decent reward. Annoyingly, however, the map will also feature neutral armored vehicles that travel around pre-destined paths and attack players:
These unstoppable steel behemoths remotely roll on a set looping path, attacking those within its immediate vicinity with its two machine-gun turrets. Operators also need to avoid the mines it drops behind it, as well as the aerial support it calls in should it drop to low health.
These sound as terrible as Krampus, but we'll have to wait for Season 2 to see exactly how strong they are…
