Warzone Season 3 isn't all about King Kong and Godzilla, we're also getting lootable perks! Here are the eight perks which can now be collected as loot.
Warzone Season 3 is going to be great! The roadmap has already told us about new POIs, weapons and operators and of course about Operation Monarch... I mean, look at the sick skins! But new content isn't all that's coming with the new season. There are also some gameplay changes, and one of the biggest we know about concerns the perks. We all know how important choosing the right perks can be for a Warzone match. Combat Scout and Cold-Blooded can often mean the difference between life and death, and Ghost offered an incredible advantage, before the nerf. However, until now, we could only get perks with our loadouts and have a maximum of 3 active at the same time - unless, of course, you found the Specialist Bonus.
Warzone Perks Become Loot
In Season 3, we can now find and equip 8 of the perks as loot. The perks are considered legendary loot and can mainly be found in loot boxes. All 8 perks can be equipped at the same time, in the way Specialist works. Of course, you can't have the same perk active twice, but this way, it becomes much more interesting to keep looting even if you already have your loadout together.
Which Perks Are In Ground Loot?
The following 8 perks can be found as loot:
- Battle Hardened
- Engineer
- High Alert
- Restock
- Tempered
- Quick Fix
- Scavenger
- Pointman (Only in Plunder)
It's obvious that favorites like E.O.D., Cold-Blooded, and Ghost weren't going to be available here, but that shouldn't be a problem. Always remember that you still have three slots in your loadout that you can fill with any perks. Just make sure you don't have any of the lootable perks in the loadout, and you can theoretically have 11 perks active at the same time. Of course, the only exception to this is Restock and High Alert, which are so good in themselves you might want to take them in the loadout to guarantee you get them.
What do you think of lootable perks? Will this get to be too much when all players are running around with 8+ perks, or is it a nice addition that makes looting more exciting? Personally, I think it's at least interesting, and I'm curious to see how the community receive it.
