We've just received exciting news about Warzone Season 3, we're talking, new operators, new POIs, and even King Kong! Unfortunately, this will also mean new bugs. And the return of some old "favorites", like the invisible weapons bug, which has been driving players crazy since 2021. Luckily, there is a fix for this error, and we've detailed it below.

What Causes Weapons To Not Load Properly?

There is a visual bug that occurs to weapons in Vanguard when the various attachment assets have failed to connect cleanly with one another. This is incredibly common in Vanguard and has been a problem since Vanguard's launched. Sometimes it causes the reticle in the optic to break, sometimes it makes the weapons simply disappear, and sometimes it gives you a bizarre bug like the one pictured above. Only one thing remains constant: the bug has not been fixed, and the console community continues to suffer. Thankfully, there is a fix.

How To Fix The Visual Bug For Weapons In Warzone?

To solve this bug, you might eventually need to restart Warzone and look for a new game, but here are a few things you can try before quitting out. I've had success with all of these when coming across the bug, but none of them work all the time:

  • Drop the bugged weapon from your inventory, pick up a new weapon, and then replace the new weapon for the bugged one.
  • Rapidly swap between the bugged weapon and your other weapon.
  • Aim-down-sight, then go back to hip fire, then ADS again very quickly.
  • If playing on Rebirth, upgrade the bugged weapon at a weapon upgrade station.

These methods can all work occasionally, but if they don't, and you're wasting too much time, then you might simply need to drop the weapon and pick up some ground loot. We know it's not ideal, but there's some good Cooper Carbines and a half-decent MG42 in ground loot right now.

And that's all there is to say about the visual bug affecting weapon in Warzone, besides moaning about it. Hopefully that was helpful for you, and while you're here, why not check out the current meta for Rebirth and Caldera.
