Krampus was... not popular in Warzone or Vanguard. So when is he leaving? And will that mean the start of the mid-season?
Krampus was disliked from the off for pretty obvious reasons. It seemed wholly against the nature of a competitive Battle Royale that some random Demon could start killing your squad and make you easy prey for everyone else. Not to mention, he took a shed load of ammo to kill. Admittedly, they did nerf him very quickly, and prevented him from attacking after the 4th round. But the damage was done, most players had already made their minds up, and we probably won't be seeing Krampus ever again. But when exactly is he leaving? And will his leaving mark the beginning of Season 1 Reloaded?
When is Krampus leaving Warzone?
Krampus will be leaving Warzone when the Festive Fervor ends on Wednesday, January 5 at the usual update time (13:00 ET, 18:00 GMT, 19:00 CET). So that still means we have a couple more days of "gifts" from Krampus, including:
- January 3: When a player successfully attacks a player, they get Plunder cash.
- January 4: Guaranteed Jail Break every game from the fourth circle.
- January 5: Start the match fully loaded.
If you still need to complete challenges for the Type 10 blueprint that's up for grabs, then may we advise using the Bren, which is still the hard meta.
Festive Fervor might not have been the most popular event, but it wasn't the worst, remember this?
Will The End of Festive Fervor Bring Season 1 Reloaded?
Probably not. Although many of you out there have probably realized that this Thursday would usually mark the beginning of the mid-season. In this instance, they will probably delay it by a week. Rather than have one event immediately followed by another, it wouldn't really allow time for any hype to build. So it's most likely that we go back to business as usual for a week and then next Thursday, January 13, will bring us Season 1 Reloaded.
Until then why not work on levelling the Type 100? Which many are betting is in a good position to become meta after the next nerf wave.
