Der reise — **4. Der Riese:** This actually has been remastered before, but it's got such a good natural flow to it that they should bring it back again. It also strikes just the right balance between simple action and puzzling easter eggs (a balance CoD rarely nails). | © Activision Blizzard

Zombie Veruckt — **2. Zombie Verrückt:** This map had a fantastic mechanic for four players whereby you would be split into two teams of two. Then you would work your way round in individual teams until you unlocked the final door and would be reunited as a quad again. It was also genuinely terrifying. | © Activision Blizzard

Callofdutyzombiesnachtderuntoten — **1. Nacht der Untoten:** The OG. Where it all began. Many Call of Duty players would now be too young to have experienced World at War in its prime, but this was the map that first gave us Zombies. To a modern player, it would feel ludicrously bare-bones, but it's just pure survival. And we love it. | © Activision Blizzard

Call of Duty: Vanguard is launching with a Zombies mode, you can see the trailer for it here. Needless to say, that's exciting. Because Zombies is clearly the best co-op mode for CoD (hence they're going to drop Spec Ops and Survival). But rather than go down the complicated route with Zombies, it looks like they want to return to the Zombies that people loved. They're going back to basics, back to where it all began. And yes, one Call of Duty: World at War Zombies map has already been confirmed for a Vanguard remaster - Shi No Numa. But here are five more Zombies maps that we would love to see remastered, too.
