Diretide dota 2

5. Diretide — The first Diretide event was held all the way back in 2012, and then again in 2013. For the next eight years it was dead silence, and many fans were joking that it'll never happen again. Then the Halloween event made its glorious return in 2020, and fans finally got what they wanted - Roshan and Candy. (Credit: Valve Corporation)

Dota 2 frostivus

4. Frostivus — In a way, Frostivus is the exact opposite of Diretide. It happened in the last three years, but 2020 was skipped. The winter event usually added some mini-games for players to enjoy during the holidays. (Credit: Valve Corporation)

Underhollow dota 2

3. The Underhollow — Dota 2 gone battle-royale? Yep, and it even worked well. Players were split into teams of three, and had to go through traps, enemies, and other teams in order to secure victory. (Credit: Valve Corporation)

2. Siltbreaker — Siltbreaker brought the RPG dungeon crawler experience into Dota 2. It featured a two-part campaign, with a limited hero pool, and many interesting encounters. (Credit: Valve Corporation)

1. Aghanim's Labyrinth — Many of the bosses in Siltbreaker left a lasting impression on us, and some of them were revived in Aghanim's Labyrinth. Dota 2 has been around for quite some time now - eight years to be exact (even more if you count the beta). Throughout that time, many new players have joined in, and we can only hope the majority of them decide to stay. In-game events shake things up, and offer you a chance to win some nice hats.
