Did Behind-The-Scenes Footage Unveil a Major Avatar 3 Spoiler?

Fans eagerly delved into the special features, and they believe they may have discovered a significant spoiler for the upcoming third installment.

  • Exciting news for Avatar fans: A PS5 game based on the movie is on the horizon! If you haven't snagged a PS5 yet, don't miss your chance. Get it here.

A user on the Avatar subreddit revealed the potential leak in the “Building the World of Pandora” special feature on the Avatar 2 digital release. In a brief shot of a screenplay, fans noticed something that could have major implications for the next film.

Warning: Spoiler Alert!

To summarize the leak: “Quaritch and Jake were together, talking about Spider. Apparently, Spider can breathe Pandora's air after some major event that happened that night. The Sullys are back at High Camp. Neytiri returns to High Camp injured. Mo'at is there. There's a new character named Va'ru. Wainfleet is alive and with Quaritch. The RDA is building a huge new device at Bridgehead for an unknown purpose.”

This potential revelation is significant because Spider is a human who previously relied on a mask to breathe on Pandora throughout the second movie. However, it's worth noting that this could be an earlier script, and the idea of Spider being able to breathe on Pandora may have been scrapped entirely.

Nevertheless, this revelation could potentially become a major plot point, as the inability of humans to breathe on Pandora was a central aspect of the Avatar project from the beginning.
