The second Tim Burton film in the Batman universe, this Michael Keeton-led film features a massive and far darker take on Gotham City. The Dark Knight Rises got more hate than it deserves. This is a film with a now-iconic villain, and a whole lot of incredible action sequences. Tim Burton's first Batman film is an absolute killer. Taking Batman to the mainstream for the first time in more than two decades, this 1989 film saw the franchised commercialized more than it ever had been before. Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale's first time at the helm. Batman Begins is an amazing beginning to what would become an iconic and absolutely fantastic trilogy. "The Batman" is here and, we've got to admit, it's an absolute masterpiece. Our review talked it up as "one of the best superhero films to ever grace the silver screen", and we absolutely stand by that belief. But how does it compare to the other films in the franchise? What about George Clooney and Christian Bale? What are the worst, and what are the best, Batman films in history? This, my friends, is going to be controversial as fork! Let's dive-on-in...

Keep in mind: we are only counting live-action Batman films. That means no Lego Batman and no animated Batman flicks. Additionally, we are not counting the Justice League films as Batman movies.
