Following the success of The Boys, Amazon Prime has announced a spin-off series called Gen V. Find out what Gen V is about and why we'll this show will be set in school this time round.
The Boys, a successful Amazon Prime Video original series, is getting its very own spin-off called Gen V. The spin-off series Gen V will be released September 29, 2023 and promises us even more action-packed adventure, just like The Boys.
Gen V on the other hand won't focus on The Boys (duh), but instead on the superheroes in the same universe. But what will Gen V be about, exactly?
Gen V: What We Can Expect
Gen V shifts the focus from our beloved Boys to the superheroes of the same universe. This time, we're heading to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college, where they're trained to become the next generation of superheroes. Of course, corrupt superheroes had to start out somewhere, and it seems Godolkin University is the place to be.
Don't worry, this show promises to be just as dark and bloody as The Boys. It seems the next generation of superheroes will do anything it takes to become a part of The Seven. The question is, what type of superheroes do these young students want to become – corrupt heroes that will be swimming in profit like The Seven, or actual heroes that work to save and protect their people.
Gen V has plenty of dark secrets to hide, and Marie Moraue, Gen V's main character, seems eager to uncover them.
Plus, Gen V will also feature some of our favorite characters from The Boys, so keep an eye out for them, when the show comes out!
