Marvel Phase 5 was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, and we got a complete overview of the movies that are going to be hitting our cinemas in 2023 and 2024. SDCC is a huge event, where thousands of comic fans gather, and over the past few years, it has become the reveal stage for Marvel and DC. This year, we weren't only treated with some movie trailer, but got a look at the complete next phase.

Marvel Phase 5

Not only will Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy trilogies come to an end, we will also see a revival of the Blade franchise. But those weren't aspects that excited fans the most. Probably the biggest news regarding Phase 5, is that Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Daredevil in the series 'Daredevil - Born Again', which will be 18 episodes long. But he isn't the only returning character, as Vincent D'Onofrio will also be making a comeback as Wilson Fisk, one of the main antagonists in the Daredevil franchise. Down below, you'll find all the movies and series coming in phase five, with their release date:

Marvel Phase 4 will end with the second installment of Black Panther. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the movie title, and it's slated to release on the 11th of November 2022. For all the Marvel fans out there, it seems you'll have plenty to look forward to in 2023 and 2024, and it doesn't look like Marvel is slowing down anytime soon. They also announced a ton of animated content, if all of these movies aren't enough.

Marvel Phase 6

At the San Diego Comic Con, we also got a first look at Marvel's Phase 6. Even though Phase 6 is very far away, it looks like Marvel has already outlined some of the movies we can expect. Phase 6 will begin in the second half of 2024 and stretch into 2025. Obviously, not a lot is known about those movies, but expect some more info at next year's Comic Con. These are the movies slated to release in Phase 6:

MovieRelease Date
Fantastic FourNovember 8, 2024
Untitled MovieFebruary 14, 2025
Avengers: The Kang DynastyMai 2, 2025
Untitled MovieJuly 25, 2025
Avengers: Secret WarsNovember 7, 2025

Crazy to think that Marvel has a set release date for movies coming out in three years, even if they don't know the title of the movie. Great to see The Fantastic Four making a return into the MCU, this will probably set up Victor Von Doom, who is the main antagonist of The Fantastic Four. I wonder what the untitled movies could be, do you have any wishes?

And there you have it. All the stuff Marvel has planned for Phase 5, and a small look at Phase 6. What are you most excited about? The revival of the Blade franchise, or is it something completely new? Either way, we will have enough content to sustain ourselves for the next several years.
