Boba Fett might have been a let-down, but the Mandalorian was fantastic. So we have to give credit to Disney for making the Star Wars TV format work. But they can't afford to make mistakes when dealing with Obi-Wan, he's easily the franchise's most beloved character.

It's pretty hard not to see Ewan McGregor in the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi and not smile. It's also promising to see how high-budget the sets and costume look, but let's try not to get too excited. We're already quietly terrified that the LOTR on Prime show might not be as glorious as it could be...
When Is The Obi-Wan Kenobi Release Date?
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be released on Disney+ on May 25, 2022. Obviously, you will need to be a subscriber, and unfortunately you can't just pay for the month of June and watch them all in one go; Obi-Wan Kenobi will be released as a weekly show. But hey, maybe it really will be as good as we're all hoping, and if so, then it will more than justify the subscription cost.
