The Mandalorian Season 3 is right around the corner, and here you can find everything you need to know and get in the mood for some good old Star Wards action on Disney+.
It won't be long before the third season of The Mandalorian hits the screens in our living rooms again. After more than two years, the Star Wars series returns on Disney+. If you want to get your first impressions before the show officially releases, we got you covered.
If you don't want to read a full article and still get a first impression of the show, they dropped a trailer that made, specifically to get you hyped for Season 3 of The Mandalorian! If you still want to get that personal touch, only a drastically underpaid journalist can give, it's much appreciated.
This trailer is simply awesome! When I first watched it, I instantly felt the urge to watch the current two seasons all over again. Recent trailers often spoil the sh*t out of you, by giving away the whole plot in just two minutes.Sometimes they even use the best scenes of the movie in the trailer.... such a waste.
The only thing, they spoil in the Trailer for Mandalorian Season 3 though, is that there will be a lot of Mandalorian action. I'm not kidding, they show a lot of Mandalorians, kicking ass! I don't even care about the plot at this point. But I sure do care about the release date.
The Mandalorian Season 3: Release Date On Disney+
The release date for the new season of The Mandalorian has finally been announced, and it looks like Mando will be back on Disney+ as soon as March 1, 2023. They already announced previously, that the series will be back in 2023, but now we finally have an official release date.
So sit tight and join Mando on his adventures early next year.

Cast: Who Will Return For The Mandalorian Season 3?
As for the cast, we will see a lot of faces, and even more helmets, make their return for season 3.
First off, the man behind the helmet of Mando, even though they could probably replace him and nobody would know, Pedro Pascal.
This actor has smashed his head to deliver a great performance, by not taking off his helmet if possible, and we love him for it. Not many actors are willing to play a role that has that little face time. Glad to see he's back. He might also play a main character in the adaptation of The Last of Us, which I am pretty happy about.
We will also see Katee Sackhoff, reprise her role as Bo-Katan Kryze. She will definitely challenge Mando for the Dark Saber, so that's going to be fun to watch.
In the trailer, we also get to see Carl Weathers make his return as Greef Karga, a.k.a. the Bounty Hunter Guild dude. This time he seems to be in some kind of leadership role in Navarro. Looks like he is still pretty tight with Mando. Love to see it.
Okay for the rest, a little summary:
- Emily Swallow as The Armorer (the one that made Mando's armor)
- Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing
- Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Carson Teva
- Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto
- Tim Meadows as ... well, we don't know yet.
- Christopher Lloyd, same as Meadows (Unknown Role)
So these guys and girls have been confirmed for season 3, but there are also some rumors, about additions to the cast we might see, like:
- Simon Kassianides as part of the Axe Wolves
- Taika Waititi as IG-11 (You know, that assassin Droid from season 1)
Sadly we also heard about some actors, that we won't see back for season 3, mainly Sasha Banks, who played Koska Reeves in Season 2. Don't know why exactly she won't be back, but maybe some scheduling issues.
Plot Expectation For Season 3
So for the plot, we will probably see more of the relationship between Mando and Bo-Katan. She will probably try to take the Dark Saber, man, she is so obsessed with that thing. Couldn't be me. I think Mando on the other hand, will try to become a Mandalorian once more, after losing his status. This will very likely make him clash with Bo-Katan, so it checks out.
The two are a very different and in an interview with ComicBook, Favreu hinted, that in the next season we will see more of their dynamic together, which affirms my claims.
Having those two characters weave together, I think, really caught people in an unexpected way. Two sets of Mandalorians that actually seem very different co-existing in the same world, so, now as we go into the next season, we start to really explore what that means and how those characters might see eye to eye or maybe not get along at all
It sounds like we might get some tag team action of Mando and Bo-Katan, maybe against Moff Gideon? We know he will make his return this season, so maybe he is going to be the big bad once more. The trailer also seems to suggest Mando will team up with some more Mandalorians, so we can hope.

I am pretty sure this season, for Mando, will be all about getting back his status and maybe earn the respect of other Mandalorians, which will then encourage them, and maybe Bo-Katan, to fight alongside him. This would make a lot of sense, if we look at the trailer and what we can see.
Anyway, I am really pumped we get some more Mandalorian action. It has been too long.
