The Rock Working on "Biggest, Most Badass" Gaming Movie

The Rock is arguably one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, with a movie releasing like every year. Now, he's adding another gaming movie, which he says will be his biggest yet.

The Rock is no stranger to video games: He did Rampage, he's in Fortnite, and has many other touching points with gaming. So when he says that this upcoming gaming-movie project he's working on will be his biggest and most badass yet... well, that means something.

The Rock Is Working on a Huge Gaming Movie

I can't tell you which game in particular we're doing, but there will be an announcement this year. We're going to bring one of the biggest, most badass games to the screen — one that I've played for years.

Now, I know I said him saying "biggest" and "most badass" means a lot, but, at the same time, let's face the music here real quick: His last two gaming-movie outings were Rampage and Doom, both of which are... terrible. Still, The Rock is The Rock, and he's the biggest movie star on the planet for a reason, so let's just give him the benefit of the doubt, when he says:

I'm really excited to bring it to fans around the world. Of course, we're going to do right by our gamer friends — but really, we're just going to make a great movie.

But what game is it? What could possibly be the biggest and most badass gaming movie, that needs someone like The Rock to play the lead? Sure, it could be a Fortnite movie given that he's already in the game, but... that's boring, and I also don't think that The Rock actually played it for years. If we look beyond Fortnite, we have to consider the fact, that The Rock is huge and not exactly your prototype video game character. Since playing the guessing game can still be endless though, I'm just gonna say what I'm hoping for, which you can tell from the picture anyway:

I want The Rock to portray Kratos in a God of War movie.

I'm not saying I could die happy afterwards, but... it doesn't get much bigger and more badass than that.
