Now, X-Men is trynna take it back to the old-school with X-Men '97.
X-Men '97 Is a Direct Sequel to X-Men Animated Series
X-Men '97 will pick up directly where X-Men: The Animated Series ended, meaning - spoiler alert - right after Professor X got injured and cured in space by the Shi'Ar Empire.
X-Men '97 will air on Disney+, and for now it's scheduled for 10 episodes, and a release date in mid-2023. Specifically, Cal Dodd will return as Wolverine, Lenore Zann will return as Rogue, George Buza will voice Beast, Alison Sealy-Smith takes up the mantle of Storm again, Chris Potter comes back as Gambit, Catherine Disher as Jean Grey, Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler, and Christopher Britton is back to lend his talented voice to the good old Minister Sinister. The band truly is back together.
