The wait is over, we finally got a new cover: Kylian Mbappé will continue to accompany us as the face of FIFA 23. He's the worldwide star of the new FIFA – except in New Zealand and Australia...
..because the Australian Sam Kerr is on the cover down under. The Australia women's national team's record goalscorer (editor: that's a mouthful, lol) and Chelsea FC player is the first woman ever to be featured on the FIFA cover. Was about time.
But that's not all: we'll show you other candidates that we could have imagined being featured on the new cover. And who knows... maybe one of them will have the honor to be the first cover star for next year's EA Sports FC?

...namely high-flyer Pedri. Both are highly talented – but Pedri has simply been less injured in the last 1.5 years and has played an incredible number of games. Most of them even with outstanding performance. Despite his young age, Pedri already shows some magic in midfield like his coach Xavi once did.
