FIFA 23 brings the World Cup to FUT with some special events. We got the first popular Swaps event for free-to-play rewards – which is always a win. Here's a guide on all the tokens, how to get them, and all the rewards. Enjoy!
The very controversial FIFA World Cup in Qatar has started. The FIFA 23 World Cup Mode has a lot to offer. Among dynamic Path to Glory players, we also got the first big Swaps event in FUT.
You can collect tokens over the next few weeks and exchange them for some really nice rewards. Check out everything you need to know right here.
World Cup Swaps Release
The Swaps event has been live since November 11, and we even received one token for free right at the start. If you want to get the rest of them, then you've got a lot of work ahead. But don't worry we'll go over the details right now, so you know what to do
All Swaps Tokens And Challenges
More than 50 tokens are waiting for us. But the grind is worth it, because we all want to get rewards without spending extra money. We will update this article frequently with all live tokens, so make sure to check back and see if EA added some new challenges.
You can find all tasks in the Milestone menu in FUT. Important to know for all tasks: matches in Squad Battles need to be played against semi pro or higher. You can also do this in rivals, but we recommend playing offline, obviously. This way, you also collect points for better Squad Battles Rewards.
Good news for those online friendlies: EA has activated the golden goal rule. Whoever scores the first goal wins. So, no endless sweating... even if 6 wins can take a very long time. But now we got a timer on 10 games per hour... so it takes ages if you start completing them now.... Bad news for broke people: two tokens were in packs that costed 75k. That's just bad, EA. We also don't know how many tokens there actually are... maybe 60 instead of 50, though.

Swaps Rewards
You can get certain players or random packs for your tokens. Decide carefully how you spend them because you won't be getting them back. For 3 tokens, you get an 82+ x 20 pack. For 10 tokens, you get an 84+ x 20 pack.
For 20 tokens, you can get either 3 times an 84+ x 20 pack or a player pick (1/5) of Path to Glory items. For 25 tokens, you'll get a player pick (1/4) of the World Cup Heroes. And for 35 tokens, you can choose 1 of 3 World Cup Icons. Or you go all the way and spend 30 tokens for Icon Cafu or 40 tokens for Icon Patrick Vieira.
Rewards are available within the Squad Building Challenges menu until January 4. There are also some World Cup Stars waiting for you. You can find them here:
How To Get The Tokens As Fast As Possible
You can unlock seven Swap Tokens in only one game of FUT – That's already enough for some decent rewards.
To complete these Objectives, you simply have to go into Squad Battles and start a match against a random team, with the difficulty level set to Semi-Pro or higher.
- Assist seven goals with Crosses using any players from Canada
- Score six goals with Finesse shots with any Dutch players
- Assist seven goals using any players from Croatia
- Score six goals using any players from Senegal
- Assist seven goals with Crosses using any players from USA
- Score six goals with Finesse shots using any players from Mexico
- Assist seven goals with Through Balls using any players from Japan
