Most Important Winter Transfers
Things are happening fast now: Juve signs Vlahovic, Liverpool Luis Diaz, Inter Gosens, Sevilla Martial and Adama Traore joins Barca! The famous 'Deadline Day' also brought a number of transfers. Tottenham and Juve have been very active and are shaking up their squad.
The 21-year-old Ferran Torres is moving from Manchester City to FC Barcelona for approx. £45 mil. Not a bad signing. By the way, Torres was trained at Valencia before he went to England in the summer of 2020. So now he's going back home.
We were really excited to see where Christian Eriksen would end up. The Dane lost his right to play in Italy because of his heart attack and the subsequent surgery. It is now clear where his journey is headed: he will become a superstar at Brentford FC and wants to secure a place in the Premier League with the bees. Good luck!

How Are Winter Transfers Affecting FIFA 22?
In the summer, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo dominated headlines. Both superstars made a move and both got their Ones to Watch Cards. However, we do not expect any Special Cards for the winter transfers.
Like we mentioned after the Golden Boy Award, it would be pretty cool to have extra cards – but maybe there will be in the future. In FIFA 22, the Headliners are almost ready and the TOTY will come soon.
There is little time and space for Winter Transfer Cards. But the big winter update still makes changes in FUT and also in career mode. That's why we're going to show you the most important changes and what they mean to FIFA.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in FIFA 22 – Move To Barca Confirmed
The Gunners and Auba made it exciting for a long time. It is now clear that the 32-year-old attacker will go to FC Barcelona. There he can help to rescue the season. A fee will probably not be due, Arsenal have prematurely terminated the contract with him (which would have expired anyway).
Dele Alli in FIFA 22
Everton really liked the Deadline Day. Not only Alli could be signed...
Donny van de Beek in FIFA 22
..but also van de Beek. So, the midfield of the toffees is now really nice!
Tanguy Ndombele in FIFA 22
The move to Lyon may take away his PL links, but if he shows strong performances we might see him more often in the TOTW. That would be awesome.
Denis Zakaria in FIFA 22
The CDM makes a move from Gladbach to Juve. He might get a rating upgrade. At least when he performs in the Piemonte Calcio kit.
Dušan Vlahović in FIFA 22
The boy is really going full throttle this year and has already earned a POTM in Serie A in FIFA 22. Let's see if he continues at Juventus/Piemonte Calcio as he did at Fiorentina.
Adama Traoré in FIFA 22
From Premier League to LaLiga and Barca. The powerful rocket could be really nice and also upgraded in the kit of Barca. We'll see...
Luis Diaz in FIFA 22
We also hope for an upgrade in winter refresh for Diaz. He will make the LFC wings even stronger now. Nice!
Ferran Torres in FIFA 22
Thanks to his league change (La Liga instead of Premier League), the Spaniard has other opportunities to be linked. In addition, a move to Barca and the attentiveness that comes with it could lead to a rating upgrade. To do this, however, he would have to take the right action right away.
Christian Eriksen in FIFA 22
Let's see where the Dane goes. In Italy he is no longer allowed to play for Inter Milan. Will he find a place at a top club again? Personally, we would think a comeback at Ajax would be really cool...
Cedric Bakambu in FIFA 22
The lightning-fast striker (90 pace) is back in a top league at a great club. Do it like Modeste, score some goals and get one or two great Informs at OM. Would be so nice.
Kieran Trippier in FIFA 22
Oil club Newcastle is upgrading and getting the strong full-back. Trippier will help the Magpies, no doubt. In FUT he comes back to the Premier League and can be linked differently.
Philippe Coutinho in FIFA 22
If Coutinho would have wanted to prevent a club from relegation, he could have stayed in Barcelona. Ok, just kidding. Seriously, it's kinda crazy, that this guy is now at Aston Villa. No offence. Perhaps he can show his potential again and recommend himself for a TOTW...
When Are Winter Transfers Coming to FIFA 22?
In FIFA 21, the big update of the winter transfers in Ultimate Team didn't come until February 10th. As a harbinger of the Winter Refresh promotion, EA provided new and adapted FUT cards.
For example, Papu Gomez moved from Atalanta to Sevilla and got the highest gold card awarded in winter with an 86. Or Luka Jovic, who went back to Eintracht on loan from Real and was then reinstated in the Bundesliga FUT teams.
We are curious to see who will be among the top transfers in January.
