Epic Games just revealed the upcoming Anime Legends Pack for Fortnite that is going to launch sometime in October, but there is one thing that seems to be missing from this anime legends pack and that is the 'legends'.

With already existing anime collaborations that have taken place in Fortnite, as well as the ones rumoured to still hit the Island in the coming months, it seems a bit odd to have this skin line get added by Epic, right? Well, let's examine it a bit closer.

Anime Legends Pack Without Anime Legends

On July 19, 2022 Epic sent out a Tweet showing off the Anime Legends Pack which is set to go live in October 2022. The pack will include original characters in an anime style. This skin line has fans scratching their head, since there are no anime legends included, merely original characters.

Seriously, where is Sukuna? Gintoki? Luffy? With One Piece starting its final arc after 25-years of serialization you'd think if anyone deserves to be considered an anime legend it would be Monkey D. Luffy, no?

Okay, enough ranting, let's get into the details of what is actually included in this Anime Legends Pack.

Need anime in Fortnite? Well there are some rumours...

What Items Are Included in the Fortnite Anime Legends Pack?

This Anime-inspired pack will include three different outfits so let's go through them one-by-one.

Golden Gear Midas

  • Golden Gear Midas Outfit - Including helmet alt Style
  • Golden Crash Back Bling
  • 24 Karat Katana Pickaxe

What makes this outfit so unique? Just by touching weapons you give them a golden shade. The alt Style with the helmet also looks pretty dope if you ask me.

Ricochet Rox

  • Ricochet Rox Outfit
  • Whirlberry Back Bling
  • Blazeberry Blade Pickaxe

Not going to lie, the pickaxe actually looks really cool from this outfit. It is basically an anime sword which is pretty dope.

Ready Penny

  • Ready Penny Outfit
  • Little Black Back Bling
  • Glimmering Edge Pickaxe

Maybe because I'm a boomer, but I actually like that this pickaxe sort of looks like one? Overall, this whole outfit with the back bling has a great feel and really gives off anime-fan vibes.

You can also get a new emote the Lil' Karte Emote with the Fortnite Anime Legends Pack.

More Anime Skins Coming to Fortnite

With rumours running amok teasing the inclusion of Dragon Ball in Fortnite. Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi have long since joined the crew on the Island and Fortnite has its own brand of knock-off Sailor Moon outfits already, so to think that a 'Anime Legends' Pack would include actual anime skins wouldn't be too far off the mark, right?

Well, we will have to make do with the upcoming Dragonball skins and hopefully one day we get even more anime legends in our favourite Battle Royale. We're already getting more Arcane, so why not more Naruto characters, right?
