Everyone has probably heard of Spider-Man, but have you heard of his enemy, Venom. But Venom is just a symbiote and needs a host to live, and this host is Eddie Brock. But what is Eddie's background, and what makes him Spider-Man's enemy? Let's dive into the world of Marvel Comics!

Who is Eddie Brock?
Eddie Brock is a fictional character from Marvel Comics. The character was created by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane, who made his first appearance in September 1986, before making his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man in 1988 as the original and most famous host of the Venom symbiote. Since then, the character has appeared in many Marvel Comics publications, including his own series, Venom. He remains one of Spider-Man's best-known villains to this day and is considered one of his three arch-enemies, along with the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. He later evolved into an anti-heroic character, slowly distancing himself from his original goal of ruining Spider-Man's life and trying to do good instead.

Although he repeatedly comes into conflict with Spider-Man, he also tries to act as a hero, albeit a violent one, trying to save those he considers innocent. After being separated from the Venom symbiote, he serves as the host of the Anti-Venom symbiote, which is sacrificed to cure the "Spider-Island" epidemic. Later, he is joined with the toxin symbiont. Although Brock is a human without powers, the suit with the Venom symbiote gives him a number of abilities, including many of Spider-Man's powers.
Eddie Brock in Fortnite
Eddie Brock is the latest skin from the collaboration between Fortnite and Marvel. It is part of the Symbiote set and appeared in the item shop on September 24, 2021, in Chapter 2, Season 8 with Fortnite Patch 18.00. If you want to get Eddie Brock in the item store, you'll have to fork out 2,000 V-Bucks. The Venom Pack is also on sale for 2,800 V-Bucks and includes the things listed below.
