Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 features 3 new Medallions. They come again with brand new abilities! You can find out how to get them here.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 we will again see special medallions. At the start of the season, there will be three of them. They are not any longer called "Aspect of God", since the Gods besides Cerberus have left.
You can get them from The Machinist, Megalo Don and Ringmaster Scarr. However, the effects have been reworked again for every individual medallion! Everything you need to know can be found here.
Locations Of All Medallions In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3
This season features 3 different new medallions according to the well known Fortnite Leakers iFireMonkey. These are carried by bosses on the map, which you have to defeat in order to get one of the medallions. Here are the respective locations and their bosses:
- The Machinist - Redline Rig
- Megalo Don - Brutal Beachhead
- Ringmaster Scarr - Nitrodrome
What The Medallions Do In Fortnite
Again, each Medallion has its own effect this season. But be careful! Wearing a Medallion still reveals your position on the map. Why you should still definitely pick up the Medallions, we show you here:
The Machinist's Medallion
As we know from former medallions from Chapter 5 season 1 getting shield over time back is pretty useful. So Epic decided to bring this feature back with The Machinist's Medallion. We don't know so far if it's fully recharging, but we will let you know on the release.
Megalo Don's Medallion
Probably the most broken medallion this season! The nitro effect will increase your movement speed, will let you bash through builds and give you knockback, give you more stamina, faster reload speed, no fall damage at all.
Epic Games, what is that? Cerberus' Medallion was broken, but this one could be on a whole new level!
Ringmaster Scarr's Medallion
The Ringmaster's medallion is pretty similar to Ares' one from last season. You will increase your weapon damage, but also now have infinite ammunition! The percentage of the damage increase is not yet known so far.
If you carry multiple Medallions, you can benefit from all the abilities, but the circle revealing your position on the map gets smaller with each Medallion. This increases the likelihood that other teams will intercept you, making you a target.
Still, you should try out the new Medallions, as the abilities could be quite OP. But consider beforehand which Medallion suits you or your teammate the best. We wish you a lot of fun playing the new season!
