Bruce Campbell aka Ash Williams from the classic horror movie Evil Dead has just been revealed in an official Fortnite trailer! Here are all the details for you.
Guys, a new Fortnite character has arrived on the island and it's none other than Bruce Campbell aka Ash Williams from Evil Dead! Just shortly after Epic Games announcing that The Rock would return to Fortnite as Black Adam, another character from a beloved franchise has joined the game.
Over the course of the last few years there have been loads of collaborations with movie franchises, other games, celebrities and internet personalities. But this crossover comes at the right time, during the spookiest month of the year!
Evil Dead – An Icon of the Horror Genre
The younger generation probably knows the Evil Dead brand through the Co-op and PvP multiplayer video game of same name. Originally though, Evil Dead emerged as a movie franchise by iconic filmmaker Sam Raimi, currently consisting of four movies and a TV series. The series revolves around the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, an ancient Sumerian text, which terrifies a group of people living in a cabin deep in the forests of Tennessee. The protagonist Ash Williams, played by Bruce Campbell, is the only person recurring in every part of the original trilogy which released between 1981 and 1992.
The Evil Dead franchise was revived in 2013 under co-production by former actor Bruce Campbell. A new movie titled "Evil Dead Rise" is bound to release on April 21, 2023, directed and written by Lee Cronin, staring Alyssa Sunderland and Lily Sullivan in the lead roles. Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi will once again act as executive producers.

With Fortnite Patch 22.20 we will finally be welcoming the long-awaited Fortnitemares Event to the island. Of course Epic Games announced this event with an exciting new teaser trailer:
Aside from a few cool gameplay snippets and crazy dances we got to see the upcoming Rick and Morty crossover as well as the Evil Dead crossover, being revealed about 13 seconds into the video. We're absolutely hyped to see this classic Horror franchise arrive in Fortnite!
