One ring to rule them...Lord of the Rings will come to Fortnite. At least according to some leakers. That's what they told us...
Fortnite is known for its crossovers. And rightly so. This is where Epic really puts the rest of the industry to shame. Name almost everything that is popular with teenagers and young adults and Fortnite has made a collaboration. Their crossovers are so diverse too: from pop music to other video games to film franchises and even anime.
With the announcement of a new Destiny 2 crossover, the next massive one also came to light: According to the latest leaks, there will be a Fortnite x Lord of the Rings crossover!
Lord of the Rings x Fortnite crossover leaked
Our good friend and popular Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, has spotted a new map change inspired by Lord of the Rings. The teaser is located on a beach on the southeast side of the island. There, The Rock Kid (the child of a stone family whose story has existed since Season 7) builds a sand castle that shows a lot of similarities between the LotR castle!
Aside from Shiina, another reliable leaker, MidaRado, has revealed that the Lord of the Rings collaboration, alongside Doom, Family Guy and Destiny 2, is all but confirmed and set to come to Fortnite at some point in the future. We know how popular Lord of the Rings is. The Prequel to The Lord of the Rings Series: The Rings of Power begins September 2, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video. Maybe that will be the incentive for the release of the crossover.
