Here are all the Rift locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.
Ever since their introduction in Fortnite Chapter 1, Season 5, Rifts have been one of the most popular ways to get around the island. Teleporting you instantly into the air, from where you can deploy your glider, these are the best fast travelling options in the game.
However, Rifts are tricky customers. Sometimes they are in the game, other times their positions move - especially at the outset of a new season. And that is exactly the case with the recently released Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.
All Rift Locations In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
Currently, there are 18 Rifts on the Fortnite map. There are always 3 rifts together in one place. Most of them are located at one of the seven outposts outside on some kind of platform. You can see the exact locations on the map below.
The Rifts are not visible from the Battle Bus, but depending on the graphics settings, you can see them when you're on the ground because they sparkle.Let's take a look at exactly where the outposts and rifts are located.
Synapse Station
The Synapse Station is located in the very south of the map. Here, there is a platform in the southwest of the main building, where you will find the three rifts of the place.
Rift at the II Outpost of the Seven
The II Outpost is located in the northwest of Logjam Junction... here you can find the rifts on the platform in the north.
Rift at the III Outpost of the Seven
To the northeast of Lustrous Lagoon is the III Outpost. The rifts are located to the northeast of the site.
Rift at the IV Outpost of the Seven
At the bottom of the map, to the south of Cloudy Condos is the IV Outpost. You'll find the rifts to the east of the village.
Rift at the V Outpost of the Seven
On the mountain in the west of Rave Cave, on the left side of the river is the V Outpost of the Seven. The rifts are located to the northwest of the main building.
Rift at the VII Outpost of the Seven
The seventh and final outpost is located on one of the tropical islands to the east of Herald's Sanctum. The rifts are on the other side of the island.
How Do You Use A Rift In Fortnite?
Using a Rift is actually pretty easy. All you have to do is walk through it. You'll immediately be teleported to the sky, where you can redeploy your glider. The Rift will remain active for 10 seconds. Theoretically, infinite players can follow you within these 10 seconds. Once the 10 seconds are up, the Rift closes, and it disappears for the rest of the round.
