Riyadh is gearing up to host the PUBG MOBILE World Invitational at Gamers8. The tournament will bring together top teams to battle it out for the $3 million prize pool.
Riyadh is set to host the highly anticipated PUBG MOBILE World Invitational tournament as part of the Gamers8: The Land of Heroes esports and gaming festival. The tournament, organized by the Saudi Esports Federation and PUBG MOBILE, will bring together the world's best PUBG MOBILE teams for six days of intense competition with a massive $3 million prize pool at stake.
PUBG MOBILE World Invitational At Gamers8 – Duration
The event kicks off on July 11 at the PMWI Allstars stage in Boulevard Riyadh City, featuring eighteen teams vying for a $1 million purse and a chance to secure one of the six spots in the main tournament. The main tournament will take place from July 14 to July 16, with an additional $2 million in prizes up for grabs.
Defending champions, Vampire Esports from Thailand, will face off against local favorites, R8 Esports, on the Allstars stage. Sixteen other teams from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Iraq, Dominican Republic, Kazakhstan, China, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia, South Korea, and Japan, have either been invited or selected by the global gaming community to participate.
The top six teams from the PMWI Allstars stage will join the Twisted Minds team from the Saudi eLeague for the main PUBG MOBILE World Invitational. They will compete against top teams representing China, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brazil, Turkey, Mongolia, and the Middle East. The ultimate prize at stake is the $500,000 first-place prize money and an additional regional slot for the league stage of PMGC 2023.
