Amazon Prime continues to prove it's one of the best deals out there: You get prime shipping, Amazon Music, Amazon Prime streaming, and you get free games every month. I'm not even sure if Amazon Luna is included, or if that flopped so hard that it's dead, but with or without it... Amazon Prime is awesome. The problem is that a lot of the times, the free games aren't particularly great. This month, though, no Amazon Prime member should miss out on their offering.

- Red Wings: Aces of the Sky
- Song of Horror Complete Edition
- Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures
- Blue Fire
- Tiny Robots Recharged
- Whiskey & Zombies: The Great Southern Zombie Escape
- Secret Files 3
- Star Wars: Squadrons
- Alien: Isolation
- Ghostrunner
Ignore Secret Files 3, ignore Tiny Robots, and ignore Whiskey & Zombies (though I do love the title) – Ghostrunner and Star Wars: Squadrons are where it's at. If you're not familiar with the games, I do recommend you have a look at their reviews. First of, we have Ghostrunner:
Next up, Star Wars Squadrons, which we even reviewed and which is a no-brainer to any Star Wars fan. Also, if you have VR, this is legit one of the best VR gaming experiences you can get. It's seriously up there and on par with Half-Life Alyx.
Both of these are great games and are worth a purchase. Being given away for free is just... it's the definition of a gift. Even Alien: Isolation isn't all that terrible, considering that Halloween is coming up. It doesn't compare to the big names here, but still... worth a scare or two.
Considering that PlayStation Plus is offering up Mortal Kombat 10, this is a pretty solid outing by Amazon. I've said this in our news-piece on the PlayStation Plus October offering, and I'll say it again: Sony really need to step up their game. They've been slacking lately. Luckily for us gamers, other services are there to pick up the slack, which once again proves that diversity and competition is the best thing that can happen to any industry.
