Arma is an all-time classic PC shooter, and now it's finally coming to consoles.
Arma is the kind of tactical military shooter that is not for the faint of heart: It is tough, dark, gritty, realistic, and just notoriously difficult. Just the learning curve for the controls alone is probably enough for a lot of people to give up, but... once you get the hang of it, it is maybe the best shooter experience out there. And now it's coming to consoles.

Sorry, PlayStation folks, this one is gonna be releasing on Xbox only. More specifically, Arma Reforger is coming to Xbox and PC simultaneously, and the Early Access is already available.
Arma Reforger is the first step towards Arma 4 and a versatile, creative, fully-moddable platform for the future, offering a glimpse of things to come.
Now, you can hold on to your crumbs of hope and interpret the above quote of a "glimpse of things to come" as the game coming to PlayStation, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Considering how disappointing Battlefield turned out to be, and taking into consideration how Call of Duty seems hellbent on continuing their cycle of churning out the same game year after year after year... Arma might just be the breath of fresh air a lot of gamers need on consoles. Sorry, correction - a lot of gamers need on Xbox.
