How To Defeat Balteus In Armored Core 6
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to beat one of the hardest bosses in Armored Core 6.
Step 1: Preparation
Before the fight, make sure you have the best weapons and gear. If it's tough, quit, upgrade, and try again. Making your AC strong is better than getting stuck.
Step 2: Upgrade Smartly
Use ACS – Dynamic Deflection Control Tuning and Pulse Armor OS Tuning upgrades. These reduce the damage you take. Others help, but these two are key against Balteus.
Step 3: Choose a Good Build
Use a sturdy bipedal build. It's better than a reverse joint build. This gives you good health, movement, and lets you use heavy weapons.
Step 4: Weapons Matter
Pick weapons that do steady damage. Also, get two explosive weapons like grenade launchers and cannons. These help hurt Balteus a lot.
Step 5: Fight Time
- Missiles: Dash forward and stick close to Balteus to dodge missiles. When he stops to shoot, use your explosive weapons
- Hit Weak Spots: Use all your weapons to hurt Balteus when he's vulnerable
- Big Attack: Around halfway, Balteus does a strong attack. When he's at 50% health, move away quick to avoid it
- Avoid Flames: When Balteus swings flame swords, jump to dodge the first, and dash right for the second
- Keep Attacking: After dodging, attack Balteus. Use Pulse Armor and Repair Kits to stay in the fight
- Repeat Moves: Balteus uses flame swords again. Jump and dash to avoid them
Step 6: Keep Trying
Keep using this plan, dodge well, and hit when Balteus is weak. You'll win! Good job! Now use what you learned for PvP battles.
Remember, practice and trying again is how you get better. Failure is an option in games like this. Just make sure you learn out of your defeats. Good luck, and keep winning! You can find plenty of other Armored Core 6 guides and news here on EarlyGame.
