FromSoftware's mech series will soon enter the into next round with Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. We have the Armored Core 6 system requirements for you here.
You've never heard of Armored Core? Although that's a shame, it's not all that surprising, since developer FromSoftware is mostly known for their Souls games and Elden Ring in particular.
Besides Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring, the Japanese developer also has a game series called Armored Core, in which you pilot your own giant mechs that you can assemble, improve and customize down to the last detail.
The first part of the series was released back in 1997, when most of you were probably not even born yet... After the huge success of Elden Ring in 2022, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will finally be a new entry into the rather neglected mech genre of video games.
Armored Core 6 PC System Requirements
Fortunately, you don't need a $3000 gaming PC if you want to play Armored Core 6 on your PC. So far, only the minimum requirements are available on Steam, but they are not particularly high:

As you can see, even older computers can manage Armored Core 6. The biggest hurdle for not so powerful PCs might be the 12 GB of RAM, but you don't have to worry about the graphics card and CPU. Even the storage does not explicitly require an SSD. If your PC is not older than 10 years, you should be fine and probably just need to get a bit more memory.

Armored Core 6 Release Date & Editions
Armored Core 6 will be released on August 25, 2023 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can also already pre-order it on Steam. The Standard Edition is available for $59.99 and the Deluxe Edition for $69.99.
All pre-orders will get MELANDER C3 G13 with special personalization "TENDERFOOT" bonus content. However, it is noted that both the parts set and the emblem can also be unlocked in the game for free. Those who pr-order the Deluxe Edition will also receive a digital artbook and the original soundtrack.
Elden Ring is one of the best games ever and Armored Core 6 looks fantastic so far. If you're even remotely into FromSoftware games, Armored Core 6 should be on your wishlist.
