Even if you're super stealthy in Assassin's Creed Mirage, you'll have to engage in some form of combat. Health Elixirs will definitely be your best friend in these situations, but you don't start off with too many. We'll show you to get more Health Elixirs, though, so don't worry.
If there's one thing you need in any good game with combat options, it's health potions, and Assassin's Creed Mirage is no exception (although here they're called "Health Elixirs"). While you can get by with stealth most of the time, eventually you'll still need the help of a good Health Elixir.
Unfortunately, Assassin's Creed Mirage only gives you two Health Elixirs to start off with, and you've probably realized that just isn't enough. We'll show you how to get more Health Elixirs, no worries.
Assassin's Creed Mirage: How To Get More Health Elixirs
Like we just mentioned, Assassin's Creed Mirage only starts you off with two Health Elixirs. Thankfully, you can increase the number of Health Elixirs that you can carry, even early on in the game.
The thing is, you can only increase that amount by one. That doesn't mean that this upgrade isn't helpful, it definitely is, don't worry. Plus, there are other ways you can ensure that you'll have enough health items at all times.
But first, how can you get another Health Elixir?
It's pretty easy, really. All you have to do is upgrade your Elixir Pocket skill in the Trickster skill tree, which will cost you two skill points to unlock. Once you've unlocked this skill, you'll always be able to carry three Health Elixirs.
How To Replenish Health Elixirs
Your Health Elixirs won't automatically replenish once you've used them, though. In order to get new Health Elixirs, you can use one of three different approaches:
- The first and probably most obvious way that to get new Health Elixirs is to buy them from merchants throughout Baghdad. Health Elixirs will cost you 30 coins, but you can also reduce their cost by giving the vendors a Merchant Token, so you can get discounts from them.
- One option is to pickpocket civilians to get new Health Elixirs. This method does not guarantee that you'll get elixirs, but it's definitely worth trying out, as you'll gain rewards from pickpocketing either way. Just make sure you aren't caught, so your notoriety doesn't rise. However, if your notoriety does go up due to an unsuccessful pickpocket attempt, you can check out our guide on how to lower your notoriety in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
- You can just pick up Health Elixirs too, especially when you're currently on missions, you'll want to loot the blue crates. They're located all across Baghdad, but you can mostly find them in restricted areas. By opening the crates you'll gain a bunch of loot, and this will often include Health Elixirs, although they aren't guranteed.
Should these methods not be enough for you, you can also always try to grab a bite to eat from street markets. This will replenish your health immediately, but you won't be able to take the food with you. It does serve as a nice little pick-me-up, if you are in a pinch, though.
