If a recent leak is to be believed, Ubisoft is working on an Assassin's Creed game that will follow the Monster Hunter formula: Assassin's Creed Titans.

Now, we've reported 4chan leaks in the past, and while not all of them are true, those that are not at least offer some fun speculation. This latest leak claims to know that Ubisoft is working on an Assassin's Creed game that will follow the Monster Hunter formula. Do we believe it? You know what... yeah, I kind of do. Here are the deets:
What Is Assassin's Creed Titans?
Well, first of all, AC Titans will be a part of AC Infinity, and Assassin's Creed Infinity is the next big entry in the series, and will, supposedly, be a live-service game. There, that's the boring backstory. Now the juicy parts: Assassin's Creed Titans will have you time-travelling while hunting monsters (I'm guessing they're.... titans), with up to three friends. To improve your gear, progress, and level up, you'll use parts from the monsters you slay. If that sounds familiar, that's because this is the straight-up exact gameplay loop that's been making Monster Hunter loads of cash over the last couple of decades. Since it's never too late to rake in cash, Ubisoft gets romantic with the idea that copying is the highest form of flattery, and now we get a Monster Hunter game with a bunch of men in white, hooded robes, which... hopefully is not as KKK as I just made it sound.
The leak even details that Assassin's Creed Titans will not only be integrated in AC Infinity, but also have social hubs, NPCs, and side quests with a story, aside from letting you take on monsters, as well as human opponents. Besides the hunt for mythological and historical creatures through time, you'll progress with the usual skill trees, to get ready for the endgame grind, which apparently is a huge focus in the game.
