Avatar The Last Airbender is getting new movie adaptions, and, as was just revealed, also getting a game adaption.
An Avatar: The Last Airbender game is long overdue. Sure, we have the tabletop game, but we've yet to get Aang and the gang in a video game. In fact, there have been fan made games out there, that are absolutely gorgeous, and serve to fill the void that we are impatiently waiting to be resolved with an official release. Well... it seems we need to wait no longer: We're finally getting that Avatar game, and from the teaser image you can see above, I dare say: It looks good.
New Avatar Game Revealed: Avatar Generations
I'm not gonna lie: The Avatar movie sure made things confusing. I mean, you can't say Avatar without people automatically thinking of the blue folks that James Cameron has blessed us with. Plus with the new Avatar movie releasing soon, along with an Avatar game, you can easily see how this gets confusing. Rest assured though, we're talking about Avatar The Last Airbender, and the game in question will feature Aang, Katara and Sokka, and it will be released on iOS and Android devices.
The Avatar game will reportedly be a tactical RPG, but aside from that we don't know much. I think it's safe to assume that Aang, Korra and Sokka will all be playable, in what I can only hope to be a tactical RPG more along the lines of XCOM, and not the usual tactical-crap one finds on the Android and Apple stores.
