You can already preload the Dead Space Remake ahead of the release this week. Here's everything you need to know, including start time and the file size.
The Dead Space Remake is launching very soon, on January 27 we can go back to the Ishimura with Isaac Clarke and fight our way through hordes of necromorph. If you have pre-ordered Dead Space already, you can jump straight into the action on release day by preloading the game. Here's everything you need to know about that.
Dead Space Remake Preload – Everything You Need To Know
The good news first: you can already preload Dead Space, at least if you got the game on Xbox . PS5 and PC players will have to wait a few days longer. It's kind of weird, and we don't know why that happened. But it is what it is.
Anyway, here are the preload dates:
- Xbox Series X/S: January 20, 8 am PT
- PC/PlayStation 5: January 25, 8 am PT
Two days ahead of release should be fine, as the game doesn't seem to take too much of your precious hard drive space. According to the official listing on the Xbox Store, Dead Space will have a file size of 31.91 GB. It can theoretically be different on PC and PS5, but we assume that it will be very close to, if not the same as the Xbox version.
