You can play Diablo 4 for free on PC through Steam until November 28. You can find all the details you need to know about the free trial week of Diablo 4 below.
Diablo 4 is great... for the first thirty hours or so. The main story is surprisingly compelling, and the opening is well-designed (it was one of the elements we praised most in our Diablo 4 review). But, admittedly, most players will be disappointed by the endgame. Although the endgame content gets reworked with each new update a little bit more.
If you hadn't much time to dive into Diablo 4 or wanted to wait a little bit more until it's even more polished, now is the best time to get into it! With the free week you're able to hop onto the game and enjoy the game's awesome first half.
We've got all details on how to join the free Diablo 4 trial week on PC below.
Diablo 4 Free Trial Week: Key Details
Here are the most important things you need to know about this free trial:
- How To Join: All you need is a Steam account , which is free to make, and a PC that can run Diablo 4.
- Duration: The Diablo 4 free trial runs until November 28, 2023. It will end at 10 am PT (1 pm ET / 6 pm GMT / 7 pm CET).
- Content: You will get full access to the game, including all the classes and customization options, but the level cap for each character you make during the free trial is 20 (which takes about 6-8 hours to get to). You can make multiple characters, so you could start again with a new class if you get to 20.
- Multiplayer: During the free trial period, you will have full access to all the multiplayer features in Diablo 4, and so you will be able to join up with friends and play cooperatively (crossplay is available in Diablo 4).
Diablo 4 On Sale During This Free Trial Period
And if you love what you see during the free trial, we've got good news for you: The full game is on sale during the free trial week. If you enjoy Diablo 4 and want to keep playing after the trial period, the game is on sale (40% off all editions) until November 28.
We hope that you can find some time to play this week. As we said up top, the opening of Diablo 4 is really fun. And to be fair to Blizzard, they have been pushing updates since launch to improve the endgame, we just aren't convinced it's quite there yet.
