In the prologue to Diablo 4 you will be asked to perform a ritual before entering the first main settlement: Kyovashad. The ritual will present the player with a choice that seems strangely important, but is it really? Does it actually matter what you choose to inscribe onto the Holy Cedar Tablets?
Diablo 4 is finally here, and thankfully, it's really f*cking good. If you're just starting to play yourself, we hope you have an awesome time with this game.
There's one decision you have to make in the prologue, and loads of players are getting hung up on it worrying about how important the choice is. So, to put your mind at ease, here's a short guide on the Holy Cedar Tablets.

What Should You Inscribe Into The Holy Cedar Tablets?
It doesn't matter. Sorry to be so blunt about it, but hopefully that answer is more relieving than anything else.
They only put this scene in the game because they needed to separate Lorath from the Player Character for mechanical reasons. But as one dev recently revealed, this moment did also offer some narrative benefits as well:
