Dune: Awakening is the upcoming Dune survival game that's got everybody's hopes up. Now we have a trailer.
Dune was amazing. Easily the movie of the year, and easily an IP that's begging to get a proper game adaption. Now, that seems to be happening, because Dune: Awakening is an open-world survival MMO that really seems to be making the most of said incredible IP, and after a lot waiting and anticipating, we finally have a trailer.

From the trailer, we can tell that the game will feature spice-harvesting, as well as sand worms, and the mandatory sand worm rinding. Also, from the aesthetics, it's clear that the game will follow the Dune movie closely, and visually the game looks to be stunning.
Dune Awakening is developed by Funcom, who know a thing or... 15 about making open-world survival games: They made Conan Exiles, which is easily one of the best survival games available. In fact, Conan and its deserts are so similar to Dune, that I'm willing to say that there isn't much that can go wronge with Dune: Awakening.
There is no release date for the game yet, but we do know that the game will be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. It sure is getting crowded in the field of survival games, with V Rising, Valheim, and Conan all vying for the crown, and Ark 2 on the horizon.
