Somebody just dumped a truckload of Elder Scrolls 6 and Bethesda leaks. Read on for more.
Christmas came early, y'all. Courtesy of Skullzi, we just got some massive leaks on The Elder Scrolls 6, so without further ado... feast on this.
Bethesda stuff I'm hearing from an anonymous source, please take this with a grain of salt, don't claim it as an inside statement from me:- PvPvE game in dev at Roundhouse that may surprise you- TES VI set in Hammerfell- TES VI will have a political system(Tweet continued)

Let's unwrap this, bit by bit, before diving into what it could mean. Of course, you already saw the headline, but there's more.
Elder Scrolls 6 Gameplay, Setting & Story Leaks
- The Elder Scrolls 6 will be set in Hammerfell
- The game will feature a political system
- Marriage, betrayal and the factions you join will all be major factors in TES 6
- There will be no dragons in The Elder Scrolls 6
- Elder Scrolls 6 is aiming to be released in 2025/2026
As I said: Massive leaks. Also, it's important to know that Skullzi has proven himself to be quite the reliable leaker, though he himself warns everybody to take this with several pinches of salt.
Unlike the leaker's usual... leaks, this one is not an inside statement coming from him directly, but rather from an anonymous source that he trusts. Still, if all of this is true – and it would make a lot of sense – this would be the most information we have on Elder Scrolls to date.
It's not clear yet, what exactly is meant by the part about marriage, betrayal and factions. You could marry people before in Elder Scrolls, factions have always been a big thing as well. Betrayal though? That sounds juicy. Maybe Bethesda will expand these systems and make them even more engaging and complex.
Of course, it's disappointing to hear that there won't be any dragons in The Elder Scrolls VI. I was ready for these next-gen systems to really unleash their power and incorporate the skies, next to the massive landbound open-world. The dragons were such a big part of Skyrim and it would have been awesome to see them make a return.
But who knows... maybe Bethesda still has an ace up their sleeve. We don't know how they will interpret Hammerfell and what they will do to populate the open world and to make traveling thorugh the map exciting and fun. I'm sure they will come up with some other kind of giant monster to fight, right?
As for the politics stuff... many games have dabbled in this before, but none really had it affect the gameplay, unless we're talking about hardcore sims like Crusader Kings or Civilization. Maybe TES 6 will take some cues from these games...
This all sounds exciting, but you know the deal... take this with a big grain of salt. This dude has leaked things before, but he hasn't always been right. So until Elder Scrolls 6 comes out in 2035, we will get excited, but also... let's not get ahead of ourselves too much, aight?
