How To Make A Glider: Walkthrough
1. Collect Crafting Resources For A Glider
1a. Finding Shroud Wood
This one might be obvious, but Shroud Wood is what you get from destroying trees you find in the Shroud. Attack the trees with bladed weapons just as you would for trees outside the Shroud.
Sometimes, if a tree is just on the edge of the Shroud, you will get Wood Logs instead of Shroud Wood.
1b. Finding Animal Fur
You will also need Animal Fur to make a glider. To get Animal Fur, you need to kill and then loot non-aggressive animals like Sheep.
If you target small creatures like Rabbits then you only get Fur Patches, so go for larger animals.
There is no tip to killing these animals; they're Sheep, they don't fight back.
1c. Crafting String
String can be crafted as long as you three Plant Fibers. Plant Fiber can be collected from bushes and by tearing dead vegetables, which you will find plenty of in the ruins of old farms.
You can craft this ingredient anywhere, you don't need a Workbench, just open the crafting menu (press V), and select the String from the Resources section.
1d. Finding Shroud Spores
Shroud Spores are dropped by enemies you find in the Shroud. You can see an example of Shroud enemies in the picture below.
You will never run out of enemies to kill in the Shroud, but unfortunately they only drop a few Spores at a time.
2. Craft The Glider
Now you have those resources you, go to your Workbench, navigate to the Survival section, and craft the Glider. You can see exactly where the Glider is located in the crafting menu here:
If it doesn't let you craft the Glider, make sure you have space in your inventory. When your inventory is full, you can't craft anything in Enshrouded.
3. Equip the Glider
The Glider won't automatically equip when you craft it. You need to manually move the Glider onto your Action Bar (the bar at the bottom of the screen) and then select it to equip.
You will know that you've done it correctly because you will see the Glider in your Glider Slot:
You will probably have notices the stats associated with this Glider. There are more powerful versions of the Glider that you can unlock as you progress much further into the game.
