Final Fantasy 7 is by far the most successful and popular Final Fantasy game, and now Square Enix has revealed that they plan to expand the universe even further.
Final Fantasy 7 has been milked so much, and so hard, that even I'm sore. Seriously. Don't get me wrong, I love me some FF7, but what is it with the religiously fanatic hype and following? Final Fantasy 9 was a great game too, and so was Final Fantasy 10, yet it is FF7 that is getting all the attention, all the hype, all the remakes, and all the spin-offs. Now, Square Enix announced that they're not even close to being done milking FF7: They're only just getting started.
There Will Be More FF7 Spin-Offs
Twenty five years ago today the original @FinalFantasy VII first launched in Japan, and to celebrate this very special anniversary we're delighted to present messages from both Yoshinori Kitase and Tetsuya Nomura. #FFVII25th pic.twitter.com/3Py8FwarIl

So... we have the OG Final Fantasy 7, right? We also have it on mobile. We have it on PS4. We have it on PS5. We have a chibi version of the game. We have two mobile spin-offs set in the FF7 universe. We have the upcoming Ever Crisis... FF7 is almost everywhere, and with the success of all these universe-expansions, Square Enix realized that they like money so much, they want it to be literally everywhere:
[The First Soldier and Ever Crisis give us] a real sense of how more and more people are supporting FFVII. Not just the fans from the original game, but also those who never experienced it are being drawn to the unique world of FFVII. And there will be even more new FFVII projects that started up after the remaking coming in the future too. The team see this 25th anniversary as a waypoint on our journey with FFVII, and will continue pressing ahead to even greater things.
More, more, more. Sounds like our boss when he wants a new feature on the website. Currently, there's no word on what these new Final Fantasy 7 Spin-Offs could be. The only thing we know is that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 is already in development, and that we will get more information on it this year.
