The open-world action game Ghost of Tsushima was one of the last big exclusive titles for the PlayStation 4, and thanks to the Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, it was also brought to the next gen console. The surrounding story of Japan's last samurai thrilled hundreds of thousands of people - a true masterpiece. The multiplayer is available for free in March with the PS Plus subscription.
In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, you'll no longer follow the story of Jin and his mates. Instead, you'll be able to take on the role of four legends with up to four players. It's a separate mode that takes place in the same world.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends offers fantastic settings and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythologies. In addition, the focus is on co-op combat and action. Teamwork is the name of the game!

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends – Free Multiplayer!
If you already own the main game, you will surely be familiar with the multiplayer. If you're not interested in story games and prefer to play together with friends, you now have the opportunity to do so! Multiplayer is available in the PS Plus until April 4.
And we think it's worth taking a look. Sucker Punch has prepared a lot of content for you! If you're traveling in pairs, you can play a series of missions that get tougher and tougher and require perfect coordination with your partner.
When you travel in a foursome, you'll be able to face waves of enemies composed of Tsushima's toughest adversaries. Among them are the new Oni enemies with supernatural abilities.
In Rival mode, two teams of two compete against each other to defeat waves of enemies and use collected in-game coin Magatama against each other.
You can also go into the battle alone
Legends is not only playable in multiplayer. You can play each of the missions completely alone. First, select the mission you want to play and press right on the directional pad. Then the player search will be turned off, and you can play alone. Keep in mind, though, that the missions in Legends can get very tough, and you'll have to forgo some features, like resurrection, when playing solo. Or you go into battle with a foreign player.
The Legends
Of course, you are not just samurai - after all, we are talking about Ghost of Tsushima here. You are true legends and masters of your martial arts. There are four classes to choose from in co-op mode:
- Samurai
- Hunter
- Rōnin
- Assasine
Each class has unique abilities and got different benefits. At the beginning, you choose one of the four classes. These include the Samurai (tank), Hunter (ranged), Ronin (healer) and Assassin (ambush and support). You must first level up one class to level 8 before you can unlock access to the other classes and higher difficulty levels.
