The beloved Ghost of Tsushima was always going to get a sequel. But now, thankfully, a very obvious job listing gives us a clear hint towards Ghost of Tsushima 2. Rejoice!
Job Listing Clearly Hints At Ghost of Tsushima 2
Sucker Punch, the developers of Ghost of Tsushima, recently posted a job ad for a Technical Combat Designer, and their description of the position effectively confirms development of a sequel. The job listing looks normal at first:
Do you love prototyping new combat systems on your own? Do you like getting your hands dirty into the details of implementation? Then we would like to talk to you! We are looking for people who are passionate about Technical Combat Design. As a Technical Combat Designer, you will help expand gameplay systems and core player abilities, by being hands on with direct implementation and help define how they fit into the game.
But then boom, just beneath "Requirements" we see this:
Must have played Ghost of Tsushima and understand its core gameplay systems.
And now we know exactly what project they'll be working on: Ghost of Tsushima 2. And, if they're already being this open about the development of Ghost of Tsushima 2, then we can probably expect an official reveal soon. One would hope with a trailer and some information on where the story will take us, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. First they need to release Ghost of Tsushima on PC, perfect for the new Steam Deck.
