Cars are a big part of the GTA Franchise. After dozens of expansion and add-ons, there are several hundred in GTA V. Now Rockstar removed a big amount of them from the Online Mode and players are furious.
Why are you playing GTA 5? For the story, the multiplayer aspects, the gun play and funny characters of course. And also because of the cars. They were always a big reason for a lot of players to start the game. Speeding through the city, the rural areas or jumping from mountains with them was always part of the thrill in GTA.
After a decade of GTA 5 there are now several hundreds of them in the Game. But now Rocktstar seems to have removed a big amount of Cars from the Online mode- and players are furious about it.

GTA Online – Huge Amount of Cars Removed
On the 13th of July, Rockstar announced that they want to remove some Cars and vehicles from the game's store. Especially cars, which weren't used that much by the player base. But now it appears, that, with the release of GTA Onlines "San Andreas Mercenaries" expansion, nearly 200 cars are gone, 195 to be exact. And, as a Reddit user Trasher9294 brought to light, they even removed cars that were generally liked by the community
Not all the cars are completely gone from the multiplayer game, some of them are still purchasable by GTA+ members, or at specific car dealers in game like the "Vinewood Car Club". Original plans by Rockstar were to remove the cars from the store and place them in different event showrooms and "Lucky Wheel". Lucky Wheel was added to the game with the Diamond & Casino Resort Update and is a straight forward type of gambling.
The GTA V online community gathered below this Reddit thread and made their discontent about this clear. It will be interesting to see, how Rockstar Games will handle the backlash and what happens with all the removed cars and vehicles in the future.
