New information on a possible location in GTA 6 leaked, and it is Cuba! Here is, what we know about the island in the game.
We've been waiting for GTA 6 for a long time now, and information on the game is still pretty scarce. Now, a leaker claims that we will get to visit Cuba in some capacity. Here is all we know about it.
We still have to wait for GTA 6 for quite a while, but until then, you can check out the next-gen version of GTA 5 .
Cuba Could Be A GTA 6 Location
Let's start this off by addressing the source. Tyler McVicker is mostly known as a former content creator with a focus on Valve games. In the past, his leak about a Cyperpunk DLC making an appearance at the Games Awards was correct, but he doesn't have any real connection to Rockstar from what we know.
In a podcast, he claimed that Cuba will make an appearance in GTA 6. According to him, it will somehow be involved in some kind of time-jump.
This is actually not too outlandish. In the last few years, there've been rumors about Cuba in GTA 6 multiple times. For example, in 2021 a leaker claimed that Guarma from Red Dead Redemption 2 was used as a testing ground for GTA 6 and tropical environments.
Also, we know that Vice City will be the main location in GTA 6. The real-life inspiration Miami is very close to the island of Cuba, so it would make sense to have it in the game as well.
Guarma of RDR2 was a test for a tropical environment for GTA 6.Also there was assets of modern guns founded in the RDR2 code.#GTA6 pic.twitter.com/57jT82gnkK

- GTA 6 is going to be a big game, so give your PC a nice boost !
The possibility for Cuba being in GTA 6 is high with how often it comes up, but we obviously have to take any claim with a grain of salt until it is officially confirmed.
If GTA 6 will have an island setting like Guarma in RDR 2, we wonder how Rockstar will implement it. While having Guarma be just a part of the story for one chapter in Red Dead was cool, it would be interesting to have something like this as another open world.
