The GTA Trilogy Remaster is releasing very soon for all consoles. But is the GTA Trilogy Remaster coming to Game Pass? We have all the details and answers below.
The GTA trilogy remaster is coming, and very soon at that: The game will release digitally for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch on November 11. Then, on December 7, the entire GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition will get a physical release, before also coming to mobile devices sometime in the first half of 2022. Befitting of the grand franchise, it's a grand rollout, across every possible platform, but keen eyes will notice that some outlets are missing: The streaming services.
Will the GTA Trilogy Remaster Be Released on Game Pass?
Yes, and no. GTA 3 and GTA Vice City will not be released on Game Pass, but the San Andreas Definitive Edition will launch on Game Pass on November 11. Mind you, that does not mean that the GTA San Andreas remaster is exclusive. It simply means that Game Pass users have the added benefit of not having to pay for CJs adventures. It also means that, if Game Pass is your only source of gaming, you will not be able to play the rest of the GTA Trilogy Remaster.
Will the GTA Trilogy Remaster Be Released on PS Now?
Similarly to the GTA San Andreas situation on Game Pass, Sony also secured a deal: PS Now users are getting the GTA 3 Definitive Edition on the service – though they will have to wait until December 7. Once the entire GTA Trilogy remaster goes live in its physical form, the third part will become available for PS Now users digitally.

Arguably, Game Pass users get a much better deal here, considering that GTA San Andreas is one of the most requested remasters ever. On the other hand, a remastered GTA 3 is probably the more novel experience, since many people played GTA San Andreas, yet are too young to remember GTA 3.
Either way, both streaming services are getting extra value, and if you're still on the fence about buying Game Pass, then I can only recommend it, especially considering that, with our guide, you can subscribe to the service for just $1.
