As good as Halo Infinite is, players have had complaints about the progression and wondered what the game could offer outside of its standard multiplayer action. Fortunately, we will find out soon, as the first time-limited event in Halo Infinite will start soon! It's called "Fractures: Tenrai" and will be inspired by feudal Japan, as you can see by that badass cyber-samurai we've used as this article's thumbnail. Read on to find out everything you need to know about the Tenrai event: What is the release date? What rewards will you get for playing it? And can I be a cyber samurai?
What Is Fracture: Tenrai In Halo Infinite?
"Fracture" are week-long events that will be available at specific times in Halo Infinite. Tenrai is the first of these events. The goal of "Fracture" seems to be to shake up the usual goings-on in Halo, and offer players some fun challenges and new content. 343 also seem to want to use these events to break away from the lore and atmosphere, and get a bit quirkier and wackier with their content (I again refer to the samurai).
As mentioned before, Fractures: Tenrai will be inspired by feudal Japan, and offer special matchmaking playlists as well as samurai-themed cosmetics. At the time of writing, we don't know exactly what this will look like, but we will update the article as soon as the event is live.
What Are The Rewards in Fracture: Tenrai?
Fracture: Tenrai will feature new cosmetics and items throughout the duration of the event. These will be earned through a so-called event pass, a sort of battle pass that will be exclusive to the event. The Yoroi armor core is an early unlock in the event. And it is pretty easy to get! Check out our guide to see how to unlock the armor core, it's really fun so you should get it:
What Is The "Fracture: Tenrai" Release Date?
The newest phase of Fracture: Tenrai will start on Tuesday, April 19 and finish one week later on April 26. Tenrai is coming back at certain points during Season 1 of Halo Infinite, which is going to last until May. So if you miss the event: Don't worry! You will have another chance to get into it at some point in the near future. But we're already at the fourth week of Tenrai, so you won't have too many opportunities left!
There you go. That's all you need to know about Fractures: Tenrai, the first event in Halo Infinite. We are loving the game, despite some technical issues. But no worries, we've got some fixes for you already.
