In Honkai Star Rail, a strong team consists of four unique characters, whose abilities complement each other. Equally important however, is the right equipment for each of these units. If you plan on getting Luocha, check out the following guide and explore some of his best team comps!
The mysterious healer Luocha was another highly anticipated character and he loves keeping himself surrounded by secrets. But that's one of the special things about him, don't you agree? If you try building a team around him, keep reading for the following guide on his build, the best Light Cones and best team compositions.
Let's get straight into it!
Honkai Star Rail: Luocha – Best Build, Light Cones & Team Comps
Luocha is a 5-Star character, who follows the path of The Abundance, which indicates his role within a team: the healer. Element wise, Luocha will deal Imaginary damage with his basic attack and his ultimate.
For being a pure support unit, Luocha seems to be quite popular. This may be a result of the lack of healing characters in the current Star Rail roster, and it is nearly impossible to clear the end game content without a well-built healer!
So how exactly should you build Luocha?
Luocha Build: Best Light Cones
There are a bunch of good and useable Light Cones for Abundance characters. For supportive units in general, there is no need for a 5-Star Light Cone at all, however if you happen to got one, this would be a perfect time to use it!
5-Star Light Cones
Luocha's obvious best choice is probably his signature Light Cone “Echoes of the Coffin”.
Echos of the Coffin
- Increases the wearer’s ATK by 24%. After the wearer uses an attack, for each different enemy target the wearer hits, regenerates 3 Energy. Each attack can regenerate Energy up to 3 time(s) this way. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies gain 12 SPD for 1 turn. (S1)
Unfortunately, the second available 5-Star Abundance Light Cone “Time Waits for No One” is one of Luocha's worst weapons, since it is meant for healers who scale off of HP and not ATK.
Time Waits for No One
- Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12 % and Outgoing Healing by 12 %. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes additional DMG equal to 50 % of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer's is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur 1 time per turn.
4-Star Light Cones
Luckily, the 4-Star weapons are a huge lifesaver for Luocha! Only one of them is a pretty bad fit for him, “Warmth Shortens Cold Night”, which also increases its wearers HP.
Post-Op Conversation
One of his top picks would definitely be “Post-Op Conversation”! This Light Cone, which seems to be Natasha's signature weapon, is just an all-rounder for every single Abundance character!
Shared Feeling
Next up, we have another excellent 4-Star choice for Luocha! “Shared Feeling” is mainly focused on outgoing healing and helps with energy regeneration! In general, this Light Cone is useable on every single healer as well, since its effect it pretty straightforward.
Not the best options of 4-Star-Light Cones for Luocha as a healer:
- Warm Nights Won't Last – Increases the wearer's Max HP by 20 %. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies' HP by an amount equal to 2% of their respective Max HP.
- Quid Pro Quo – At the start of the wearer's turn, regenerates 8 Energy for a randomly chosen ally (excluding the wearer) whose current Energy is lower than 50 %.
3-Star Light Cones
If you really aren't lucky enough getting either a 5-, or 4-Star Light Cones we got you covered, since there are some good 3-Star Light Cones. Those two makes your life a little bit easier and they can easily be upgraded as well.
- Cornucopia – When the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate, their Outgoing Healing increases by 12 %.
- Multiplication – After the wearer uses their Basic ATK, their next action will be Advanced Forward by 12 %.
Luocha's Best Relics
Luocha is an incredibly easy character to build, since there is no particular 4-piece set that would fit him too well. Means, the most effective build for him would be a combination of three 2-piece sets!
The best line-up looks something like this:
- 2-piece: Passerby of Wandering Cloud – Increases Outgoing Healing by 10 %
- 2-piece: Musketeer of Wild Wheat – ATK increases by 10 %
- 2-piece: Sprightly Vonwacq – Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5 %. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's action is Advanced Forward by 40 % immediately upon entering battle.
These three sets combined, provide Luocha with all the stats he could ever need: Attack and Outgoing Healing Power!
Best Stats for Luocha
The right stats are just as critical as the correct set. Prioritize Luocha's Relic stats as followed:
- Body – Healing %
- Boots – ATK % / SPD
- Planar Sphere – ATK % / HP %
- Link Rope – ER % / ATK %
- Sub-stats – ATK % → SPD → HP % → Effect
Luocha's Best Two Team Comp
Since Luocha is a dedicated healer, he does basically fit into every single team! However, there are some units, he synergizes best with.
Team #1
This team is one of the best fits for Luocha and the least expensive one as well. Clara is part of the Standard Banner and may already be a part of your team. March and Pela are both 4-Star characters and with a little bit of luck already in your possession.
Let's take a look at the second team setup for Luocha.
Team #2
This line up is fairly expensive, since it consists of three 5-Star characters. And the chances of getting Silver Wolf and Luocha in one go is rather low – it still can happen, just not for me. However, Welt is one of the Standard Banners and there is a good chance that you already own him!
You can easily exchange Silver Wolf with Tingyun for example. Since she's a 4-Star character you may already have her in your team.
We wish you the best of luck setting the perfect team for Luocha together. You don't know what content will be added with version 1.2? With this article we got you covered.
