With Xbox Game Pass, you can access a ton of games without paying any additional fees on top of the subscription. With CI Games' new release, Lords of the Fallen, many players are hoping for the game to be playable with Game Pass. Unfortunately, the game doesn't feature in it... at least for now.
With CI Games's Lords of the Fallen, a new Souls-like just got released for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. And while the PC Version brought some trouble for many users, the game received a pretty positive reception overall. Because of that, players might be interested to know if the game features in the Xbox Game Pass.
Is Lords of the Fallen On Game Pass?
The game launched on October 13, and unfortunately it didn't release on Game Pass. So currently the answer is: No, Lords of the Fallen is not featured in Game Pass. Right now, there is no indication that the game will come to Game Pass. Neither CI Games nor Microsoft have hinted at it.
For those unaware of what Game Pass is. The Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription, for which you have access to a library of games that you can play without paying an additional fee. Each month, new games are joining Game Pass, some at release, some shortly after and others that are out for a couple of years that are still played often. So you pay a set-sum per month, and you can play all the games in Game Pass via their Cloud-Streaming service.
Will Lords of the Fallen Come To Game Pass?
In the near future? Probably not. CI Games face the same dilemma as many developers did before them: They want to earn as much money as possible at release. Game Pass is cutting off revenue, but giving the publishers a free up-front and, potentially, a bigger audience.
So it is not unlikely that Lords of the Fallen will eventually get into Game Pass, yet it won't be in the near future. So, if you want to play the game, the wait might not be worth it.
