Well, this story features a couple of much more interesting characters, voiced by brilliant actors that you will surely recognize from somewhere.

Pinocchio is the players' character in Lies of P. He is a humanoid puppet and needs to find his creator, the master puppet maker, Geppetto. You will wander around the city of Krat, exploring the environment and fighting various biomechanical enemies.

In this reimagined tale, Geppetto, the master puppeteer and Pinocchio's creator, plays a pivotal role, renowned in the city of Krat for his exceptional puppetry skills. Geppetto and Pinocchio share a father-son bond, yet that doesn't mean you should trust him blindly. Originally, Geppetto created his son, Pinocchio, to safe the city and their civilians, a task that now lies in the hands of the player.
Geppetto is voiced by Anthony Howell, an actor that many souls-like lovers might remember from Elden Ring, where he took over the role of Morgott.
Lies of P: Antonia
Antonia is a character that we already got to see in the game trailer. She owns the hotel Krat, which is the starting point of P's journey. She's suffering from Petrification Disease, an illness that is caused by Ergo spores from a meteor. People that suffer from Petrification Disease slowly form a rocky texture on their skin and eventually get petrified.
Antonia is a wise and influential ally to P, knowledgeable about the city's secrets. Don't underestimate her; she'll be crucial as P explores this mysterious world.
Lies of P: Sophia
Sophia is like a pendant to the blue fairy from the original story, but also a lot different. She is a guiding voice in side P's mind, and follows him on his journey as an important advisor and emotional support. In the demo, players already got to meet he in Hotel Krat.
Sophia's voice belongs to the British actress Allegra Marland, known for The Crown (2016), Goodbye Christopher Robin (2017) and Father Brown (2013).
Lies of P: Venigni
As of right now, we don't know that much about Venigni. He seems to be a highly intelligent man and also the owner of the Venigni Factory in Krat. Fans have also discovered that his name, and character, might be a reference to the Italian actor Roberto Benigni, who played Pinocchio in the 2001 film adaptation.
Venigni's character comes to life through voice actor Shai Matheson, who also took the role of L'ubor in the recent Final Fantasy XVI.
