Like all other Yakuza/Like a Dragon games, there are a lot of collectibles in Like a Dragon Gaiden. Some of those are also required to get specific achievement/trophies. In this guide, we'll tell you the exact locations of the Gold Balls.
Once you enter Chapter 2 in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, you'll gain access to a lot of activities. Like going to the cabaret to meet some hostesses, sing in the karaoke bar, find some collectibles or tackle down some of the side quests and substories in the game through the Akame Network.
The "Gold Balls" are one of many collectibles you can find in the entertainment district. And finding all of them grants you the achievement/trophy "Gotta Catch Some Balls". But this will only pop up if you find six out of seven and finish the Akame Network quest "Gotta Catch'em Balls" as well.
Here is where to find all Gold Balls!
Like A Dragon Gaiden: All Gold Balls Locations
Most of the Gold Balls can be found once you gain access to the specific locations in Like a Dragon Gaiden. Some of those need to be found, and the other ones can be easily purchased as well. Here are all Gold Ball Locations:
- Sotenbori: Kiss Shot Billiards & Bar – Trade for 777 billiard points
- Sotenbori: Ebisu Pawn Shop – Purchase for 77,777 yen
- Sotenbori: Daytime River Boat – Use Spider grapple to get the Gold Ball of the boat
- Sotenbori: Akame Shop – Trade for 777 points after you unlocked the third set of inventory items
- The Castle: Fighters Lounge – The lounge becomes accessible after reaching the silver rank in the Coliseum. Now use the stairs to get to the lower floor, make a halt at the large statue and look up between the legs and find the Gold Ball
- The Castle: Central Street – Face towards the Casino and the standing people. Wait till the man in the mask face towards you and then use the grapple hook to get the ball
- Sotonbori: Shofukucho Street – Accept the Akame Network quest "Solve the Mysterious Note" during Chapter 4. The note takes you eventually to the Shofukucho Street. Find the turtle pillars and across of them you're able to grapple the ball of the awning
With this last one you found all seven Gold Balls, fulfilled the Akane Network quest and on top of that got the achievement/trophy "Gotta Catch Some Balls".
