Like in any Yakuza/Like a Dragon game, Like a Dragon Gaiden is also a playground with tons of minigames. And playing billiards is one of many things you can do during your time in Sotenbori.
With the challenging minigame called the "1-Shot Challenge", you might ask yourself if there is an easy way to solve the billiards challenge, where you have to clear every stage with only one shot.
In this guide, we'll offer you simple solutions to clear the Normal "1-Shot Challenge" without any problems!
Like A Dragon Gaiden: Normal 1-Shot
While the Easy difficulty won't pose too much trouble, the Normal difficulty might take your billiard game to another level. Especially if you don't know the little tricks and secrets for solving the little puzzles before you run out of turns.
Here is how to handle each stage with ease:
Normal 1-Shot – Stage 1
In "Normal" you get introduced to a yellow ball that you'll often need to reach the red ball and put it into the designated pocket. But in this stage you don't even need the yellow one to hit the red one.
Adjust yourself just like in the picture below, in order to get the ball over the ramp, and you'll hit the red ball and get it into the designated pocket — easy-going!
There are also methods where you hit the yellow ball to get the red one into the pocket, but this example is by far the most reliable option in this stage!
Normal 1-Shot – Stage 2
The second shot is far more difficult at the beginning, but once you get the feeling for positioning the cue ball to hit the yellow one it's not as bad as it looks. You need to aim for the bottom of the table and adjust for an almost 45° angle to the yellow ball.
Don't go overboard with the power because the red ball will keep flying over the table over and over again. Just use half of it and you'll get the red ball into the pocket.
Normal 1-Shot – Stage 3
The last one might take up some of your turns, as it revolves around a little bit of RNG and if you got the right angle. But either way, you need to go all out with your power this time around!
Position yourself pretty much in the middle of the ramp and give it a clean and straight shot. Use the screenshot below for reference. With a little bit of luck and a merciful RNG god, you won't have much of a problem.
You need to hit the ramp with as much speed as possible. So go full power this time around!
